3 years on from that massive stroke and I have now arranged with co-executor Michael to try and remove the Facebook page- mainly because it will continue to be a suggested contact to anyone who knows more than one of us and could be upsetting for some. Personally, I have grown somewhat used to Mum being the sole occupant of Carriers cottage, life continuing, much as Peter would have expected. I miss him most when we have our family reunions, but realist optimism is a quality he helped to embed in me.
